The view of the ocean/waves/surfers: we've stayed all over the world (including quite a few other places in Hawaii including Kailua Beach, Oahu) and this was the BEST view we've ever had in any lodging near the beach. The waves and surfers were simply mesmerizing, and the sunsets indescribable. Truly this was the biggest plus of Banyan Tree 204 and the main reason we'd come back. The apartment layout (master bedroom views, patio seating, main living room, kitchen, bathrooms) were all excellent and roomy, with excellent and updated comfortable furnishings. Laundry facilities in the apartment . . . a big plus.
All of the 'extra' touches present . . . binoculars, games, beach towels and beach toys, books (we also left a few books and a fun 1,000-piece puzzle that we put together during our stay).
The pool and spa (especially the HOT 105 degree spa) . . . felt great to cool off or soak in the hot tub, and the late hours were nice and quiet. The pool was never crowded (and usually was empty). The location & proximity to groceries, restaurants, walking distance to other beaches . . . all excellent and unbeatable. The Kitchen was well stocked and even had some staples left over from other guests (some places clean all that stuff out, but it was nice not to have to buy another bottle of pancake syrup!) Parking - it was great to have our own assigned space for the duration of our trip. There are probably many other positives too numerous to mention!
We had the perfect stay at the Banyan Tree Condos. We spent 5 days/5 nights with our family of 5 including 2 teenagers and a 10 year old. The views are even more beautiful than the pictures. We had fun watching the surfers and had amazing sunset views. We would definitely stay there again. The description was spot on. Jennifer is an amazing host, so organized and quick to respond. Her instructions are detailed and helpful. Her list of local restaurants and activities is very insightful. Be sure to check what is already at the condo before running to the store as so much is provided by the host or "paid forward" by previous guests. Mahalo Jennifer!

You can expect wonderful hospitality. We enjoyed sitting on the couch, drinking coffee, listening to the waves, and watching the surfers every morning. It was amazing and relaxing. It was very clean and we had everything we needed!

204 Banyan Tree was hands down the most beautiful location we have ever stayed. The views, the sounds of the waves crashing just outside, the comfortable amenities all combined to make this our best vacation ever! We almost wanted to stay at the condo every day because it was so fabulous! Jennifer was fantastic with communication, and suggestions for places to see, eat, drink, and relax. We loved Jennifer's 2 bedroom condo. The most spectacular ocean view we have ever experienced. The photos cannot do the ocean view justice. It was hard to leave the place. We made sure we were back every evening to view the sunset from the balcony.

My stay at Banyan Tree 204 exceeded my expectations. It’s hard to believe but on-line pictures don’t do the unit or the view justice both are fantastic. If you like to live and sleep with the sounds of the ocean 24/7 this is heaven.

Magical. The lanai was our morning and evening place to be. The flat was so well equipped (thank you Jennifer for providing placements), the communication with Jennifer was stellar and the place itself magical. It’s close enough to drive to town but quiet in its own right.

Right on the ocean with chairs to enjoy all your meals. Location, location, location. We didn't wind up walking to town but was only a few minutes drive to Kailua-Kona district with tons of shops and dining options. It was so handy to have a large cooler, beach chairs, and umbrellas as these were much needed on most of the beaches. We wound up keeping them in our cars for impromptu picnics. Jennifer was an amazing host. We had a key snafu but was able to locate an additional key in our lock box. I would definitely come back here again.
You cannot beat this place for cleanliness, amenities, comfort, and view, view, view. Jennifer is a very thoughtful host who effectively took care of every conceivable need. The condo is as described, but you may not be prepared for the splendidness of the view. If the outside temp is very high, I recommend turning off the AC if you're going to sit out on the balcony for any length of time. While we got most of everything we needed for making meals in the condo at Costco, we utilized the convenience store across the street often.

Jennifer is the best host we had so far! She really took car of us from the booking to the end of our trip. She sent us pertinent informations on how to prepare and really enjoy the perfect location of her home. That was our 20th anniversary of wedding that we shared we our 3 kids and it couldn’t have gone better. I was surprised how bigger the appartement was in reality compared to the pictures and the location is perfect! Direct vue on the beach, pools almost just for us and Kona at 10 min of driving. This is the most divine and thoughtful accommodation I have ever stayed at. Not only is it in a beautiful location but there are loads of extras like snorkeling gear, beach chairs pantry items etc. Great communication by the host and owner- 5 stars!

This place is WONDERFUL!! It is VERY clean and decorated beautifully! The sound of the ocean waves when you have the sliding glass door open is one of the most relaxing parts of this condo! You can enjoy that relaxation all day! The beds are so comfortable and there is everything you would need to enjoy whatever activity you have planned for the Big Island. The location is great! Just the perfect distance from the crowds to be able to enjoy peace and quiet but only a couple minutes drive to all of the happening spots in downtown Kona! Jennifer is an amazing host with quick responses and provides you with LOTS of recommendations to anything and everything that you need to know. I HIGHLY recommend this place! You will be glad you did!!!

This condo is perfect in every way! The location and outlook to the surf break is sensational! Turtle spotting from our balcony! The closest beach for swimming is Magic Sands Beach which is about a 15 min walk. The surf was massive while we were there and I would caution that only experienced ocean swimmers enter the water! The pool is lovely situated right by the sea! The host’s communication was fantastic! Thank you Jennifer we loved your condo and would recommend it to others!
